Student Government Association

The Student Government Association (SGA) is the governing student group at Monroe Academy.  The SGA is comprised of a slate of officers elected by students in grades 7-11 in the spring and representatives from each homeroom by section.  The representatives are elected in the fall.  Each club on campus also elects or appoints an SGA representative.  The SGA organizes events such as food drives, homecoming, t-shirt sales, and charity fundraisers.  The SGA participates in the AISA SGA activities and nominates teachers and students for state honors.
